
Our Pastor ---Rev. Dr. Anthony S. Medford
Rev. Dr. Anthony S. Medford was born on September 16, 1963 in Bridgetown, Barbados. He was born into a large family of six girls and five boys. Dr. Medford is the third child and the first of his siblings to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. Since then, all of his siblings have accepted Christ.
His mother, Bishop Adorna Broomes is the founder and pastor of Healing Waters Ministries in Bridgetown, Barbados, and eight of his nine siblings serve under her ministry.
Dr. Medford met his wife Minister Grace G. Medford while on a speaking engagement at her church when he was nineteen years old. They were married two years later and have two wonderful children from that marriage, Antonio and Akelia.
Dr. Medford migrated to the United States in June of 2000. He has served as an associate pastor at Calvary Church International and Faith Christian Church. He served as senior pastor of United Emmanuel Holiness Church from December 2004 until March 2008. In April of 2008, Dr. Medford founded A Voice in The Wilderness Ministries where he currently serves as senior pastor. His motto is, where God guides, he provides, and his mission is winning the lost at any cost.
He holds a Diploma in Biblical Studies from World Mission School of Preparation, an Associates of Arts in Human Services from Urban College of Boston, Bachelor of Divinity, Master of Divinity, and Doctor of Theology from The Spirit of Truth Institute
